Common questions
How do I invite someone to my household?
Only the household's admin can invite people. Go to Set up, open your household and tap Invite people. Send them the link, or have them type the code under Join a household in the app.
How does the shopping list decide what's on it?
Each item has a number you like to keep. When you count fewer than that during a house check, it goes on the list. Each item knows which shop you buy it at and which aisle it's in, so the list sorts itself. You can also add one-offs for things you don't buy every week.
What's the difference between Stop and Finish?
Finish means you've done the shop: everything you ticked is put back in the house, and everyone sees that you've finished. Stop means you're not shopping after all: nothing is restocked, and the shop disappears from everyone's lock screen.
I don't see someone's shop on my lock screen
Check that Live Activities are on for Stocked in your iPhone's Settings → Stocked, and that “Someone starts shopping” is on under Set up → Notifications in the app.
My widget isn't up to date
Widgets update in the background when someone in your household changes something, but iOS decides exactly when. Opening Stocked always brings them up to date. Make sure Background App Refresh is on for Stocked in Settings → General.
I'm getting too many notifications
Go to Set up → Notifications. You can get one summary after a house check, one a day, or none, and set quiet hours.
How do I leave a household or hand over admin?
Open the household in Set up. If you're the admin of a household with other people in it, hand admin to someone else first, then you can leave.
